Roles and Visibility
What a member can see and do, and what only a super admin can.
Two roles, on role of the signed-in profile:

Read the role from GET /api/v1/users/me/profile once at launch and gate the UI
on it. The gate is only cosmetic — the server enforces every rule
independently, so a member who reaches an admin screen gets a 403, not a
surprise.
A profile also has a status: active, pending (invited, not yet verified) or
deactivated (hidden from the directory and unable to sign in).
